Teacher / Owner

Laura is an E-RYT200, YACEP, & Baptiste certified yoga instructor with a passion for working with students who see their mat practice as a tool to optimize and radiate off the mat in our life.  Laura has worked in Fortune 500 consulting, owns a building materials company, and is a certified energy leadership coach.  Her passion for holistic wellness and peak performance has sparked her entrepreneurial endeavors including two Pure Yoga studios, a peak performance institute called Pure Potential, & a 200 hour yoga teacher training school, Pure Yoga Teaching Institute. Laura’s classes inspire students to author their own experience, explore their edge, and tap into their inner strength and light. Her intention is to create the possibility of growth, courage, community, and compassion each time we roll out our mats. "I want our students to come alive in life, believe in & advocate for their own greatness, and be willing, joyful conductor of their life," she said.

Teacher / Studio Manager

Beth has been teaching yoga since 2013 and has picked up the following tools to help along the way: E-RYT 200, RYT 500, YACEP, TCTSY-F, MSW. She completed her RYT 200 in 2013 and RYT 500 in 2017 from Brooke Hamblet Teacher Training School in Fort Worth, Texas. She has taught yoga with all ages of children (preschool to adolescents) as well as adults, including all levels restorative, yin, chair yoga, slow flow, trauma informed/sensitive, and Baptiste power vinyasa. She has taught community classes for breast cancer survivors, students who are visually impaired / blind and weekly trauma informed classes in the mental health community including adolescent and adult crisis residential units, adolescent and adult male addiction recovery units, and mental health outpatient clinics/community centers.

Playfulness is a state of mind, and a beautiful sentiment to bring to your Yoga practice. What you bring to your mat, percolates and permeates throughout the rest of your experience in life.
Joey seeks to bring that lighthearted energetic mindset to the yoga classes he teaches, creating a fun and safe space to explore the Baptiste methodology he was trained in.
When not teaching he enjoys gardening, barnyard noises, and making jewelry at the enchanting 75 acre homestead he stays at called Sunswept Farm.

Cari remembers the feeling of power and possibility that she carried home with her after her first yoga class in 2001, and she hasn’t been able to shake it ever since. She began teaching a decade later in 2011, having completed her 200-hour certification including Level One, Level Two and Art of Assisting teacher trainings through Baptiste Power Yoga Institute. Before moving to Asheville in 2014, she completed her 500-hour advanced teacher training certification at Moksha Yoga Center in her hometown of Chicago.

Carter is a mindfulness practitioner and yoga teacher who has spent the last decade immersed in the science of yoga, meditation, and wellness. As creator of The Mind Abides, Carter inspires others to be curious about the radiating joy inside us all. He currently lives in Asheville, N.C. where he enjoys dancing to live music, practicing cold immersion, and running mountain trails with his two rescue pups.

Carter is certified in Radiant Body Yoga and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. Radiant Body Yoga (RBY) is a holistic approach to yoga, which has its roots in the ancient Kundalini and Tantric traditions. These practices offer a potent combination of physical posture, breath work, kriya, meditation, and chanting and they can increase strength, build vitality and create mental clarity.

Leaflin discovered yoga through a friend in 1998, and was hooked from the first forward fold. She understood immediately that in order to fully receive this gift, she needed to share it, and by 2000 had enrolled in her first teacher training with the incomparable Diane Wilson of Portland, OR.
Since then she has completed several teacher trainings including a 200hr training at Atmananda Yoga in NYC, and a 230hr training in Body Mind Centering with Lisa Clark. She also completed beginning and advanced training in Thai Yoga Massage with Kam Thye Chow of the Lotus Palm school in Montreal.

Farrell Lenoble is a yoga instructor, personal trainer and general movement enthusiast. He enjoys teaching flow classes, exploring the relationship between balanced alignment and mindful transitions. Though he is serious about yoga and movement, he keeps the mood light and fun, not to take things too seriously. As a personal trainer he embraced bodyweight fitness as his main modality, and enjoys bringing that strength building perspective into the yoga practice. He is passionate about handstands and loves to help others progress on their hand balancing journeys.

Tucker graduated from the 300+ hour Jivamukti Yoga teacher training. Tucker is a devoted and passionate practitioner of yoga and hopes to open others up to what he has discovered through years of practice. Through his pursuit of yoga, he learned to be more accepting of the process and less absorbed in results and expectations. His teachers and his search inward have introduced him to vegetarianism and a healthier lifestyle while reuniting him with a spirituality and creativity he had not previously experienced. To share these gifts and facilitate people on their personal path to enlightenment is his ultimate goal.

Ali completed her 200-hr teacher training at the Baptiste-affiliated Breathe Yoga in Pittsford, NY, in 2011, and has since also completed advanced training with the Baptiste Institute. 

Realizing that there's life beyond the hot and sweaty, Ali cultivated a love for restorative and yin yoga. 

When she's not on the mat, she loves to write. She's the Editorial Director of the arts and culture website Asheville Grit (ashevillegrit.com), as well as a contributor for Sensible Reason (sensiblereason.com), Embodied Philosophy (fivetattvas.com), and Yoga Basics (yogabasics.com)

Evan’s gift to herself, upon returning home from the Peace Corps in December of 2015, was a 200-hr Yoga Alliance vinyasa training at Omcore Yoga & Body on St. Simons Island, GA. Just as in her own practice, Evan’s vinyasa flow and gentle yoga classes focus on connection (to the self, all living beings and the divine), inner strength, safe alignment and deepening physical assists.

She hopes to practice with you soon and to guide you towards finding, listening and nurturing your soul both during the asana practice and out into the world.

Yoga has helped Leigh settle in to strength and calm on the mat and out in the world. We all learn when we’re ready to receive information and she believes her job as teacher is to meet students where they are and with what they’re working with that day. The best way she knows to do this is to focus on breath and asana, so her students have the space to work with their personal intention. In Leigh’s classes you can expect a strong steady flow with a focus on alignment. Her classes will typically offer opportunities to learn and explore arm balances as well as other aspects of your practice.

Mary Beth received her yogic education and classic vinyasa training from Kindness Yoga in Denver Colorado. She has a background in dance, music and art which uniquely colors her practice and teaching style. 

Mary Beth loves steady, smart alignment and modifications because we all have different bodies with different needs! She leads a powerfully gentle vinyasa flow. Her class is all levels, beginners welcome! But still expect a sweet challenge, you will glow.
