In this class, we will explore the practices of yoga through ahimsa (non-harming), bhakti (devotion), dhyana (meditation), nada (sound/listening), and shastra (study of sacred text). These tenants are interwoven to create a well balanced and varied vinyasa yoga class.

Kundalini yoga is called the yoga of awareness.  It blends mantra, music, meditation, asana, and breathwork to strengthen the body and mind and awaken the spirit.  The technologies of Kundalini yoga are woven together to cultivate devotion, creativity, focus, and discipline.  The physical practice will both enliven and challenge you.

Yin poses are held for 1 - 10 minutes and therapeutically target the connective tissue and joints. The long holds influence the body’s meridians, opening the hips, pelvis and spine. The work in the yin practice is also a meditative awareness of any sensation in the experience of the form.
